Between us we have been singing to audiences at folk clubs and festivals both individually and in various groups for well over sixty years.
We first got together towards the end of 2009 and had our first public performance at Bromsgrove Folk Club in May 2010. Since then, we have performed at a good number of folk clubs and festivals in the Midlands and further afield, and we already have several bookings for this year.
We sing shanties and maritime songs, mostly upbeat but with some quieter and humorous items to give variety to our performances.
Our first CD is now available, having been launched at Warwick Folk Club (website here) on the 27th of February. We had a splendid night there - they're a friendly and enthusiastic bunch at Warwick and it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. We've put some of the tracks on the Listen page of the site.
